It is usualy a good idea to make this unit a healer such as a Falcon knight or Valkyrie because Comanders are generaly ineffective in combat. Use this on a character with high movement such as a flyer. If the Character is Female use Rally Resistance. It is Recomended you use a logbook character instead of your own avatar or Morgan because it would be a waste. An avatar character or a character with grand master acess must be used. This unit's only purpose is to boosts the stats of those around it. Rally spectrum, Rally defense, Rally skill, Rally Magic, Rally Strength/Rally Resistance Posible characters: Sumia, cordelia, Cynthia The DLC skill Iote's Shield could also work here. For child units whos acess to other classes permits it, it is recomended to replace luna with aegis or bow breaker to prevent your flyer from being brought down by a well placed wind tome or arrow. Tome and Lance faire boost atack while galeforce gives you an extra turn upon defeating an enemy, Renewal keeps your unit's health up, useful for being far away from the rest of your team, and luna helps penetrate an enemy's defences. Gale force, tome faire, Lance faire, renewal, Luna Posible characters: Owain with Vaike as a father. Another solution would be to use a ranged sword, such as Amatsu or Ragnell. This build can be weak against ranged atackers such as mages, so some may want to replace astra with a skill such as miricale, ageis, bow breaker, tome breaker, or any healing skill (other than Sol) to prevent range units from picking off a sword master with low health. Combine this with a Swordmasters naturaly high skill and a forged killing edge you can see crit chances in the range of 80-99%. When astra trigers your unit will atack 5 times consecutivly, each atack with it's own chance of criticaling. With such a high crit chance your unit will destroy it's enemy before the enemy even gets a chance to atack. Vantage lets your unit strike first when below half health. It may seem dangerous to let your sword masters health get that low, so thats where vantage comes in. Zeal boosts your crit chance by 5% While Gamble boosts it by 10% (at the cost of 5% hit rate which makes no diference to a swordmaster, a class known for it's high hit), aditionaly Wrath boosts your crit an aditional 20% percent while below half health, bring your base crit total to a whoping 35%. Posible characers: Tharja, Noire, Morgan, My Unit. Armsthrift works here as well against larger armies or units with high dodge rates. Tome breaker prevents your sorceror from being hit by other magic users.įeel free to replace tome breaker with any other breaker skill or try tomefaire to maximize the damage dealt. Vengance adds all damage taken by your unit to the amount of damage your unit deals When coupled with nosfuratu, whenever your sorceror gets low on health he will deal increased damage and heal 50% of what he deals. Vengance is the most important skill in this set. Pavise improves a sorceror's already strong defense alowing them to fight powerful foes at close range and live. Anathema and hit rate+20 help compensate for Dark Magic's low hit rate and sorcerors' low skill. Just be sure to let Chrom hide in a corner. A character with this skill set and and a good suport is capable of soloing entire levels including the end game.
